Manual Milling Machine Training

  • Are you looking to purchase a milling machine, but don't know where to start?

  • Have you got a milling machine but unsure or not confident using it?

  • Are you unsure how to produce set ups for your projects?

I can provide training using a milling machine, giving you confidence and knowledge to allow you to get started with your projects. Typically training lasts a day, but bespoke sessions can be planned for.

Whilst working towards my apprenticeship as a Precision Toolmaker for Parker Pen, learning what I thought was everything there is to know about using manual and CNC machines and achieving my City & Guilds level 3, ONC level 3 and HNC level 4 in Engineering, I find myself even now learning old and new techniques for operations that can be carried out on machine tools.

I currently deal with several colleges and although they teach a good standard of learning they do not have the time and funds to teach everything I was fortunate to have been taught in industry. I also believe there are not many places to find one to one teaching like I offer. Hence I am willing to teach individuals who really want to learn how to use a manual milling machine.

If you live local to the Brighton area or want a day out, of any age, are totally new to engineering and machining or partially self taught looking for extra tuition contact me here to discuss what I can offer.

I have my Assessors Award (A1) enabling me to assess level 1 NVQs in machining up to level 5 Management NVQs. I've also achieved my Preparing to Teach in the Life Long Learning Sector (PTLLS). My machines are set up to industry standard in a safe working environment.
